Bring safety back to British Columbia

Across our province, we’re seeing businesses closing down.

Not because the economy’s bad or because they’ve made poor business decisions, but because of crime.

Shoplifting in Vancouver alone is up 91% over the past three years, and retailers say they’re only even reporting about 15% of cases.

And it creates a ripple effect for communities: people steal from businesses, businesses close their doors, customers lose a community staple, workers get laid off, and their families are left struggling to pay rent.

But we don’t need to accept this.

It’s time to bring back safety to British Columbia by restoring enforcement, standing with our police and pressuring the federal government to keep criminals where they belong: in jail.
